About Customs By Shelton
Four Generations of Craftsmanship.
Customs By Shelton is a family-owned cabinet shop built on four generations of woodworking knowledge and craftsmanship. The current Knoxville operation was started by Morgan Shelton and his father, who built the shop from the ground up approximately five years ago.
Unlike many cabinet companies that outsource doors, drawer fronts, and millwork components, Morgan and his father build nearly everything in-house from raw materials.
Using traditional woodworking equipment — shapers, custom tooling, and time-tested techniques — they manufacture cabinet doors, raised panels, shaker doors, drawer fronts, interior doors, mouldings, floating shelves, built-ins, and specialty millwork under one roof.
Every project is custom-built specifically for each client — and crafted to last for generations.
